Step 1 of the professional pathway
Business Killers Presenter Training
Learn to introduce business owners to important planning questions through the Business Killers educational presentation, to the standard owners deserve.
Approval as a Business Killers Approved Presenter follows training, demonstrated competency and authorization.
01What training covers
Five areas. One standard.
Deliberately practical: the philosophy behind Business Killers, presentation skill, and clear expectations for conduct and follow-up.
What this is, and isn't. Approved Presenter status is presenter authorization. It is not a regulated professional qualification or a designation.
- 01
Philosophy and educational standards
Why the presentation is educational first, and the standards every presenter commits to.
- 02
Presentation delivery and storytelling
Delivering the story-based presentation with clarity and credibility, in the room or online.
- 03
Risk Barometer administration and follow-up
How the Risk Barometer is administered, how results are handled, and what responsible follow-up looks like.
- 04
Conduct, privacy, scope and coordination
Staying within scope, protecting owner privacy, referring when appropriate, and working with existing advisors.
- 05
Demonstrated competency and approval
A practical evaluation of a real presentation. Authorization follows a successful demonstration.

How does presenter training relate to BST Certification?
Presenter training is step one. BST Certification is BSI's next-level pathway and is in development; details will be published when it launches. About BST Certification.
